Thank God life fell apart. At least I get this second chance. "Make more mistakes more quickly" was the advice in Canadian designer Bruce Mau's 'manifesto' - not currently on the bmd site, that I can see. Born 1961. I'm a committed Buddhist. A committed musician. A sometimes committed loony; the friendly type. I'm very smart. Not very wise. Not very pretty.

What IS Art, Exactly?

BEFORE You Read This ... You might like to play the game I played ... Think of your own best definition of "art" - not easy, I know.  Then, compare the various definitions I've gathered below, and see what works.  Chances are, it'll be your own definition you like best.  The good news is, there really couldn't be a wrong definition - art is what you feel it is, nay? She's been my guru for maybe 15 years now - though she doesn't know it - yet*. This documentary, with the lovely Bill Moyers , will tell you much about her, AND, much about Buddhism.
